Snap Bag Class



Come join us and Miss Emma for a Snap Bag class that will teach you many new things on your machine.  Emma will lead you threw many small steps to get you to the cuteist little bag.  You will go home with a finished product and will want to make more.

Bring a lunch and your machine and have a fun day of sewing. 


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: In this class you will learn to measurea and cut with a rotary cutter, layer and quilt a small fabric sample, mark fabric for quilting, simple quilting, pressing folding and stitching on quilted fabric and useing an overcast stitch on your machine
Materials Included: A kit will be available for sale at class time.
Requirements: Sewing machine with multiple stitches, basic sewing supplies, 1/4 in sewing foot AND an open foot for overlock stitch. rotary cutter thread, 2 fat quarters or 2 pieces of fabric to cut into 10' x 22' 6 x 24 ' ruler marking pen or chalk

Instructor Bio: Emma is the current president of Pacific Flyway Quilters in Colusa. She is a crafter-quilter- and upcycler of used jeans. She loves to repurpose jeans in to quilts, bags, pillows and anything else she can think of.
