Disappering 9 Patch Class
This quilt can be made in two sizes: 63"x89" (24 blocks with border) or 53"x68" (20 blocks and no border).

| Skill Details: | Must have a working knowledge of sewing and the use of your machine. Sewing machines are NOT provided in classes. We will have a full day of sewing. Please have your fabric cut before class. We will not take a formal lunch break, take a break whenever you want. Bring a lunch or pick something up in town. |

| Requirements: | The block is made with 5” squares. You can use precut charm packs, layer cake squares cut into 5” squares, or 5” squares from your scrap bag. There are also 5” background squares and 5” accent squares. For the large quilt – 96 printed 5”squares Background 2 yards cut into 96 5” squares Accent ½ yard cut into 24 5” squares Inner Border 5/8 yard, cut 7 2 ½”strips width of fabric (this can also be your accent) Outer Border 1 yard, cut into 8 4” strips width of fabric Binding ¾ yard Backing 5 yards For the smaller quilt- 80 print 5”squares Background 1 1/2 yard cut into 80 5” squares Accent ½ yard cut into 20 5” squares Binding 5/8 yard, backing 3 ½ yards Sewing Supplies Sewing machine, power cord and foot pedal, instruction manual Thread, wound bobbins Rotary cutter, ruler (6” x 24” recommended) Scissors, pins, machine needles, seam ripper |
