Kids Camp Sewing Weekends
Learn to measure, cut and use an adult size sewing machine. Returning students and new students are welcome.
We will be making fun project to take home and show all your friends.

| Skill Details: | Some basic skills needed for this class. Students will learn how to thread the machine and wind the bobbin and straight line sew. Basic knowledge of some sewing tools, i.e. rotary cutter, ruler, pins, seam ripper. Must be able to sit for more than 1 hour and listen to instructions without disruption. |
| Materials Included: | Sewing kit will be sold at time of class. Each student will need to purchase for the class. |
| Requirements: | Adult size Sewing Machine, must be in good working order. White thread and your own sewing tools. You will be here until 1:00 and you will need snacks/ lunch and water. Please feed your child breakfast before they come to class. All student must be 10 years old at the time of class. No exceptions. IF your machine does not work the parent will be called to pick up the child for that day. WE DO NOT have machines to borrow or use. |

| Instructor Bio: | Joyce has been sewing since the age of 9. She was making her own cloths and now is a quilt maker. She enjoys teaching children to sew with the hopes that they will continue sewing throughout their life. |
