Project Bag Class
In this class you will learn to quilt a small padded area, add a zipper, sew on plastic/vinyl and add binding.
A lot to learn in a short amount of time, but a fun class. You will be hooked on making these bags to store your sewing projects in for taking to class or storing all of you items in one place.
I have made them to carry mail back and forth to the office, putting coloring books and crayons in for kids as we went to church or the doctor's office.
I keep my instructions and fabric in the larger bags and hang them on a hook in my sewing room to free up space on the shelves. It is easy to see what is in the bag and I can put everything back in it and hang it up until I am ready to work on it again.

| Requirements: | If you do not want to purchase a pre-made kit, you will need to bring at least 3 different fabrics to make the bag. 1/2 yard each color. Other items you will need: Working Sewing machine 1/4 foot Full bobbins to match fabric Zipper Foot Plastic sewing foot (Non-Stick) Quilt Guide 505 spray Chalk or marking pencil/pen 90/14 needle Stiletto Rotary Cutter 6 x24 Ruler Scissors Thread Scissors Pins/clips Zipper Soft and stable foam and vinyl well be available for purchase at time of class. |

| Instructor Bio: | Barb is an employee of the shop and has many years of sewing experience. She has taught many classes and has enjoyed learning new techniques to pass on to others. She goes at a slow pace and allows everyone to learn and practice. You are encouraged to ask many questions. |
